ORDER

The allegation in this case is that the accused was found to be in possession of 3 liquor bottles of 180 ml each and as such he is charged under Section 4(1)(K) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937. Since the same comes within the individual consumable limit and the matter is pending from the year 2020, no useful purpose will be served in continuing the case.

2. Accordingly, the proceedings in S.T.C. No.427 of 2020 on the file of 1/3

the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Jayamkondam Taluk, Ariyalur shall stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed. 20.08.2025 nsl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned. 2/3
