ORDER
The allegation in the instant case is that, without any permission, on 26.11.2019, the accused gathered and protested demanding the old Pension Scheme. Accordingly, the case is registered for the offences under Sections 143 and 341 of Indian Penal Code,1860.
2. Considering the nature of allegation itself would not make out an offence and is in the nature of a democratic protest and further the case is Page No.1 of 3
pending from the year 2019 and continuing the case hereafter would impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused and accordingly, the proceedings in S.T.C.No.598 of 2020 of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Ariyalur Taluk, Ariyalur stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed. 20.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
