The allegation in this case is that on 19.07.2020, the accused was found in possession of 10 bottles of liquor of 180 ml each. Since the same comes within the personal consumable limit and secondly since the case is pending for the past five years from the year 2020, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the case pending.

2. Accordingly, the proceedings in S.T.C.No.815 of 2020 on the file of Page No.1 of 3

Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Ariyalur Taluk, Ariyalur stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is allowed.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
