Mr. S.Ravi Kumar Special Government Pleader COMMON ORDER The present Writ Petitions have been filed in the nature of Certiorarified Mandamus seeking records relating to notification issued by the second respondent, Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Chennai, dated 19.04.2017 and quash the same. The writ petitioners claim that they are all working as part time workers in Animal Husbandry Department for nearly about two decades as
of today and therefore, claim priority in appointment and claim that the notification seriously prejudiced their prospectus. As a matter of fact, earlier the petitioners had also filed Writ Petitions in W.P.Nos. 23878 to 23882 of 2012 seeking regularisation of their services. A learned Single Judge of this Court by an order dated 16.07.2021 had passed certain directions and that aspect had been stressed by the learned counsel for the petitioners herein. They are however independent Writ Petitions which had been disposed of by the learned Single Judge. 4.
In so far as the present notification is concerned, the learned Special Government Pleader had forwarded a written instructions wherein it had been stated that for the 66 posts, there were 6433 applicants and notices have been sent to the said applicants calling upon them to attend interview. It had been however stated that subsequently, a decision had been taken to postpone the said interview due to administrative reasons.

In view of that particular facts since as on date, the notification has been put to rest by the respondents, no effective advantage would accrue to the petitioners by keeping the Writ Petitions still on Board by this Court.

Therefore, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneously Petitions are closed. 7.
The petitioners are always at liberty to proceed further and take necessary steps in accordance with law to enforce their rights, of ever need arises.
