O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2024, wherein and whereby, he sought for Personal Security Officer (PSO).
2. There is no representation for the petitioner.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents by referring to the counter affidavit submitted that on enquiry, it is found that there is no threat to the petitioner from any source and the petitioner has also not established that he has got life threat. He further submitted that only in order to maintain his status, the petitioner has sought for PSO.
4. Taking note of the above submission of the learned Additional 2/5
Public Prosectuor, this Court is of the view that already the respondents/Police conducted enquiry based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 23.07.2024 and it is found that there is no life threat to the petitioner. In this view of the matter, this Court cannot conduct roving enquiry or investigation on the very same issue and it is for the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
