This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct 4th respondent to provide police protection, based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 14.09.2024.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.09.2024, the respondents/Police had already conducted enquiry and closed the complaint, since the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature. 2/4

3. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
