ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 02.09.2023 made by the petitioner for cancellation of Patta No.3998 and subsequent patta No.4207 in respect of the property bearing Plot No.2 measuring an extent of 3474 Sq.ft., in layout called Madha Nagar Extension-IV comprised in Survey No.128/2B, as per Patta Survey No.128/2B2, situated at Madhanandapuram Village, presently Alandur Taluk, Kanchipuram District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that at his instance, the registered documents were cancelled and the purchaser of the land had also been impleaded as respondents 3 and 4. It would be suffice if a direction 2/4

is given to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2023 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

In the light of limited prayer and and the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2023 and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 as well as the rival parties if any, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible provided within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 17.10.2023 ksa-2 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No 3/4
