ORDER

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents has produced the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 04.02.2026, notifying the Ad-Hoc Rules for the Temporary posts of Director-cum-Additional Commissioner of Food Safety, Deputy Director Grade-II (Regulatory and Compliance) and Designated Officer of Tamil Nadu Food Safety and Drug Administration for Tamil Nadu Food Safety Service. The learned Additional Advocate General, submitted that the Government, in the aforesaid Gazette, has framed the Rules for designated officers. Hence, the learned Additional Advocate General, submitted that the order of this Court in W.P.No.15075 of 2016 dated 30.08.2024 has been complied with.

2. In view of the compliance of the order of this Court in W.P.No.15075 of 2016 dated 30.08.2024, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 04.02.2026, in the manner known to law, if so advised. 26-03-2026 Internet:Yes dsn
