This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to cancel the E.B. Connection No. 328-017-137 in respect of premises viz. Plot No. 338, 339 Seashore Town, 10th Avenue, Panaiyur, Chennai-600 115 standing in the name of the 2nd Respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner is not present.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the Official respondents would submit that as sought for in the writ petition, the electricity connection has already been disconnected therefore, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. That may be the reason, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not present before this Court.
