This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give suitable police protection to the petitioner and her family members life and liberty based on the petitioner's complaint dated 05.09.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents that the petitioner has filed a

complaint as against the private respondents before the respondent police herein and CSR number has also been assigned. Though the respondent police sent summon to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police for enquiry, the petitioner refused to do so. The attitude of the petitioner is highly deprecated. It is the duty of the complainant that after receipt of summon, he has to appear before the respondent police and give statement. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and cooperate with the respondent police to dispose the case.

4. With the abovesaid direction, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
