Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd respondent/police (i.e) (Central Crime Branch, Wing-5, Chennai Commissioner Officer, E.V.K. Sambath Salai, Vepery, Chennai to file the final report pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 18.6.2013 which was registered in Crime No.381 of 2014 dated 8.9.2014 under Sections 420,465,467,468,471 I.P.C pending on the file of the 2nd respondent/police herein.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent/police (i.e) (Central Crime Branch, Wing-5, Chennai Commissioner Officer, E.V.K. Sambath Salai, Vepery, Chennai to file the final report pertaining to the petitioners complaint dated 18.6.2013 which was registered in Crime No.381 of 2014 dated 8.9.2014 under Sections 420,465,467,468,471 I.P.C pending on the file of the 2nd respondent/police herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No. 381 of 2014 is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police. Now, almost six years have been lapsed. Therefore, the 2nd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.381 of 2014 and file a final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
