2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the Learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father in law possessed and enjoyed the Grama Natham land comprised in Old S.No.117/2, New S.No.375/29, measuring an extent of 0995 square meter, situated at Thiruvidanthai Village, Tiruporur Taluk for the past several years and after his demise, the petitioner's husband enjoyed the said land and has also obtained patta in his favour in Patta No.792. Thereafter, the petitioner's husband settled the subject land in favour of the petitioner, vide Doc.No.15591 of 2022 dated 14.07.2022. Pursuant to the said settlement, 2/6
the petitioner made made a representation dated 27.10.2022 before the respondents seeking for issuance of Patta in her favour in respect of the subject land, however, till date, no orders have been passed on the said representation. Hence, this Writ petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 3rd respondent to issue Patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the subject land by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2022, as expeditiously as possible.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader has no serious objection for the said order being passed and he fairly submitted that appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.
6. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, issues direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's 3/6
application dated 27.10.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
