A.No.5449 of 2022 A.No.5449 of 2022 in O.P.No.73 of 2021 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J., The application has been filed seeking amendment of the name of the 6th petitioner by including his family name and also by correcting the distinctive numbers in the serial numbers of the Share Certificates as mentioned in the schedule to the securities.

2. In the affidavit, it had been stated that the 6th respondent had been given the name Narendra Malhotra. It is now stated that the name should be Narendra Malhotra @ Narendra Mohan Malhotra. Since it is only about the name of the petitioner, I find no impediment in granting the said amendment and same is granted.

3. The other amendment is with respect to correcting the distinctive numbers relating to the Share Certificates.

4. It is stated that the distinctive number have been given in the schedule with respect to the shares in V.S.T.Industries Limited as 14040175- 14040225. However, it had been given that the number of units are 307. It is therefore stated that the distinctive numbers should be corrected to 14040175 - 14040481. The last three digits will be 481 instead of 225.

5. The name of V.S.T.Industries Limited is also sought to be changed to The Vazir Sulan Tobacco Company Limited.

6. The application stands allowed.

7. The learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to carry out necessary amendments. Amendments to be carried out on or before 14.12.2022.
