The petitioner seeks bail in S.C.No.70 of 2017 now pending before the VII Additional District & Sessions Judge, Chennai, wherein charges have been framed under Sections 147, 148, 341 & 302 of IPC r/w 149, 120B & 109 of IPC.

2.The petitioner had been originally granted bail but for reasons best known to him, he had take a decision to abscond. A Non-bailable Warrant was issued on 14.06.2022 and the petitioner was secured only on 09.02.2023. This had held up further progress in the case. 3.It is also contended that it is a retaliatory revenge murder. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner however states that the petitioner was not involved in the earlier case. .

At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
