The petitioner herein is an accused in Cr.No.754 of 2025 for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. The petitioner herein was arrested on 18.07.2025 for alleged possession of 2 kgs of ganja leaves.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner is having similar cases pending against him. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that the investigation is not yet completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
