The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2024 and file a final report before the appropriate Court within a stipulated time. 1/4

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though, based on the complaint given by the petitioner/de facto complainant, the respondent registered a case in Crime No.9 of 2024 against the accused, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the case pertains to online trading and the investigation is still in progress. He further submitted that the respondent Police will be able to complete the investigation at the earliest.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.9 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible under due intimation to the de facto complainant. 6.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
