ORDER

The allegation in this case is that on 02.01.2015, the accused opened the bar and permitted persons to consume alcohol before the Government permitted hours.

2. Considering the nature of the allegations and the fact that the case has been pending since 2015, any further continuance would impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused.

Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No.161 of 2015 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Ranipet Taluk stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands disposed of. 21.08.2025 nsl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
