Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the first and third respondent to consider the representation dated 16.05.2023 seeking to take appropriate action against the encroachment made by fourth respondent in S.No.184/1, situated at No.63, Thattanchavadi, Karupur Town Panchayath, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, the said land belongs to the third respondent.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.J.Rajmohan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the land would come under the Animal Husbandry Department. It is further submitted that survey would be conducted and pursuant to the report of the survey, further action would be undertaken in accordance with law and after following the principles of natural justice.
