The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 174 Cr.P.C., @ 306 IPC in Cr.No.505 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the petitioner's son and the defacto complainant's deceased daughter was solemnized on 27.01.2021. Out of the said wedlock, the deceased begot a female child and there was some misunderstanding between the petitioner's son and the defacto complainant's daughter. Due to which, the petitioner is said to have scolded the defacto complainant's daughter and the deceased committed suicide by hanging herself. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that there was some misunderstanding between the petitioner's son and the defacto complainant's daughter and the petitioner is said to have harassed the defacto complainant's daughter. Due to mental stress and agony, she committed suicide by hanging herself. He would further submit that there was a video recorded which was seen by the deceased before her death. Further, the RDO enquiry report reveals that there was a harassment for the deceased, which instigated the her to commit suicide. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and that within one year prior to the marriage, the deceased has committed suicide, this case requires a detailed investigation and this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 08.12.2022 anu
