Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 2 - 4 forbearing from locking, sealing, demolition or taking any other coercive steps against the petitioner's house property situated at Door No.7, Kanniamman Koil Street, Mathiyazhagan Nagar, Saligramam, Chennai 600 093 comprised in S.No.82/5PT pending consideration of the petitioner's statutory Appeal dated 23.05.2025 pending on the file of the 1st respondent and petitioner's selfcertification application bearing No.IKNPLKFO dated 16.08.2025 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Mr.Habeeb Rahman, learned Government Advocate and Mr.Prabhu, learned counsel, on advance copy, appear for first
respondent and respondents 2 to 4 respectively.
2. The grievance of petitioner, as ventilated in this petition, is that even though she has filed a revision application, aggrieved by the orders and action of Corporation, along with stay application, long back, the application for stay has not been heard and in the meantime, respondent Corporation is now proceeding to demolish the building by putting a lock and seal thereon.
3. In a similar situation, when grievance was ventilated before us in W.P.No.31046 of 2025, we have directed the revisional authority to decide the application within stipulated period and provide a protective umbrella.
4. In these circumstances, we are not inclined to keep the petition pending and the petition is, accordingly, disposed of with direction to revisional authority to decide the application for stay within a period of three weeks from today. Petitioner shall not seek any adjournment on the date fixed by the revisional authority for
consideration of the stay application. A copy of this order shall be placed by petitioner before the revisional authority within five days. Coercive action shall not be taken for a period of three weeks by the Corporation. If the order passed by us today is not placed before the revisional authority within a period of five days from today, the protective umbrella given shall lose its efficacy. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim application is also dismissed.
