O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 125, 309(4), 311, 351(3) of the BNS Act, 2023, in Crime No.266 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other co-accused attacked the de-facto complainant and robbed Rs.1,250/- from him. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, apart from this case, petitioner has eight similar previous cases and he is in history sheeter. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the nature of the offence and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 26.08.2025 nvi 2/4
