Crl. M.P. No.14257 / of 2024 in Crl. O.P. No.23543 of 2024 P. DHANABAL.J., When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that already this Court granted interim protection, in spite of that the respondent police have arrested the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent police have also admitted that this Court granted interim protection to the petitioner vide order dated 30.09.2024, but the petitioner was arrested by the respondent police in another case and in this case, the petition was filed as crime number 'not known'. Already this Court also directed the investigation officer to appear before this Court on 19.10.2024 and thereafter at request of the respondent police for filing an affidavit, this case was posted today. The respondent police have filed an affidavit.

3. Further, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also would submit that already a contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner. Hence the affidavit filed by the respondent police is recorded.

Since the petitioner was already arrested and remanded to judicial csutody, the main petition becomes infructuous.

4. In view of the above discussions, this petition is dismissed. 22.10.2024 mjs To 1.The Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Karaikal.
