2. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking transfer of H.M.O.P. No.36 of 2025 from the file of the Principal Subordinate Judge, Ambattur to the file of the Principal Subordinate Judge, Alandur.
3. The petitioner/wife states, inter alia, that connected proceedings arising out of the same matrimonial relationship are pending before the Alandur Court, namely H.M.O.P. No.604 of 2025 and D.V.C. No.58 of 2025, and therefore the transfer is sought to avoid multiplicity and to ensure effective adjudication at one forum.
4. In transfer petitions arising out of matrimonial disputes, the Court primarily considers comparative hardship, convenience, and the
desirability of having connected proceedings tried at one place to avoid inconsistent findings.
5. Having considered the submissions and the pendency of connected proceedings at Alandur, this Court is satisfied that the transfer sought is justified.
6. Accordingly, TR.C.M.P. No.954 of 2025 is allowed. H.M.O.P. No.36 of 2025 is withdrawn from the file of the Principal Subordinate Judge, Ambattur and transferred to the file of the Principal Subordinate Judge, Alandur, for disposal in accordance with law. The Principal Subordinate Court, Ambattur shall transmit the entire records to the Principal Subordinate Court, Alandur , within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the Principal Subordinate Court, Alandur shall dispose of the matter in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, uninfluenced by any observations made in this order.
