ORDER

The allegation in this case is that the accused, being the son, abused his parents in an inebriated condition every day. The parents had also been taking care of his children. The case has been pending since 2019 and the accused and his family are no longer available at the given address. Summons remain unserved.

2. Considering the nature of the allegations, even if summons are served Page No.1 of 3

in the future, it would impinge upon the right to speedy trial and as such, no useful purpose will be served in keeping this case pending.

3. Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No. 251 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No. II, Kallakurichi Taluk stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands disposed of. 21.08.2025 nsl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
