PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent police to initiate legal action against the above said persons and investigate the matter in accordance with law based on the complaint dated 18.10.2019 submitted by the petitioner. This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to initiate legal action against the above said persons and investigate the matter in accordance with law based on the complaint dated 18.10.2019 submitted by the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the petitioner's complaint dated 18.10.2019, preliminary enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 01.02.2020.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has not received any intimation with regard to the closure of the petitioner's complaint.
5. Considering the abovesaid submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
6. The fourth respondent is directed to send an intimation with regard to the closure of the petitioner's complaint by RPAD within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy which is available under law.
