PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent police to initiate legal action against the above said persons based on the complaint dated 17.10.2019 given by the petitioner through RPAD and investigate the matter in accordance with law. This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to initiate legal action against the above
said persons based on the complaint dated 17.10.2019 given by the petitioner through RPAD and investigate the matter in accordance with law.
2. Heard Mr.N.R.Elango, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the petitioner's complaint dated 17.10.2019, preliminary enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 01.02.2020.
4. The learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has not received any intimation with regard to the closure of the petitioner's complaint.
5. Considering the abovesaid submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
6. The fourth respondent is directed to send an intimation with regard to the closure of the petitioner's complaint by RPAD within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy which is available under law.
