ORDER

The allegation in this case is that, on 02.09.2015, in the premises of the accused, three bottles of 180 ml of liquor was found and the persons were also permitted to drink.

Considering the total quantity is within the personal consumption limit and considering the nature of allegations and for the same, the accused Page No.1 of 3

have been facing the proceedings from the year 2015, any further continuation of the case, would impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused. 3.

In view thereof, the proceedings in C.C.No.136 of 2015 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Ranipet Taluk is quashed and this Suo motu Transfer case is allowed. 21.08.2025 veda electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
