PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to register the petitioner's settlement deed dated 30.08.2019 in favour of his son Arogya Doss and pass orders. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to register the settlement deed presented by the petitioner on 30.08.2019. When the matter came up for hearing on 22.07.2020, this Court passed the following orders:

"Mr.A.V.Ramalingam, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions submitted that the temple has already filed an appeal against the Order of the Settlement Officer and the appeal is pending before the Director of Land and Survey Records.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner wants to take institutions in this regard.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to give the full particulars regarding the appeal that is said to be pending before the concerned Authority.

4.Post this case under the caption 'for orders' on 29.07.2020."

2.Mr.A.V.Ramalingam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions submitted that the appeal is pending before the Director of Survey and Land records, Puducherry in A.No.21 of 2019.

3.In view of the above development, the second respondent has to necessarily await for the final orders in the appeal, before registering any document submitted by the petitioner. 4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director of Survey and Land Records, Puducherry to hear the appeal pending in A.No.21 of 2019, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned and pass final orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any registration of documents will be considered only after orders are passed in the appeal. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
