By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to register the sale deed dated 11.09.2024 presented for registration within time fixed by this Court.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that one R.Chithra and R.Deepika are the owners of the property described in sale deed dated 11.09.2024 and the sale deed executed by them in favour of the petitioner was presented for registration before the respondents on 18.09.2024, after taking a Token for presentation of the documents. It is also stated by the petitioner that he has paid all necessary charges and submitted supporting documents to prove the right of the vendors over the said property. Further, the second respondent has not passed any order either registering or refusing 2/4
document. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The second respondent is having statutory duty to register the document if it is in order and cannot keep the document without taking any decision with regard to the registration. Therefore, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the sale deed presented for registration dated 11.09.2024 and pass final orders with regard to the registration within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
