ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the promotion panel dated 10.08.2022 for the post of Block Development Officer.

2. The petitioner claims that his juniors have been ranked higher in the impugned promotional panel. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the promotion panel has been challenged in this Writ Petition, the petitioner will be satisfied if his representation dated 18.08.2022 questioning the impugned promotion panel, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if such direction is issued by this Court

Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2022 requesting for placing him as senior most candidate for the post of Block Development Officer for the impugned promotion panel dated 10.08.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2 / 4
