The appeal is filed under Sections 374 and 372 (Proviso) of the Cr.P.C., by the victim challenging the judgment of the acquittal.

2. This Court is of the view that since the appeal is filed by the victim under Section 372 of the Cr.P.C., in a case initiated by the police. Hence leave under Section 378 of Cr.P.C., is not required, Therefore, the Registry is directed to number the appeal and list for hearing.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
