Crl.OP.No.24025 of 2023 Crl.O.P.No.24025 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.315 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 504 and 505(ii) of IPC r/w 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that the defacto complainant, viewed his face book account, he found that the petitioner had forwarded posts in his face book account about the Health Minister and also about the Chief Minister. These are unbecoming of any person much less the petitioner herein. If he wants to put up such a post, then he should face up to investigation and trial. Seeking anticipatory bail application and trying to circumvent investigation is not the answer. I am not impressed advanced with the arguments and I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Vv 19.10.2023 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
