This petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.72 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Villupuram against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Section 498A, 406 & 506(ii) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that considering the nature of the allegations, sought indulgence of the Court, to dispense with the personal appearance of the petitioners.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The trial Court shall decide the matter on its own merits. Considering the submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the personal appearance of the petitioners is dispensed with except for receiving copies, for answering the charges, for questioning under section 313 Cr.P.C. and on the dates fixed by the trial Court. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
