... Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the directing the 1st and 2nd Respondents to pass orders of regularization to the Petitioners regularizing the Petitioners in the 1/4
post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon coming under the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Service taking note of the fact that the Petitioners have been working as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon temporarily for more than 10 years and also written the examination conducted by the 3rd Respondent pursuant to Advertisement No. 562, Notification No.13/2019, dated 18.11.2019 and also attended the counselling held for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon on 06.02.2021 by producing all the necessary documents within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents one and two to pass orders regularising the petitioners in the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners 1 and 3, relying on the reply affidavit filed by the petitioners 1 and 3, submitted that the petitioners 1 and 3 vide proceedings dated 20.03.2024 and 2/4
07.03.2024, were appointed as Veterinary Assistant Surgeons. It is stated that the first petitioner was appointed as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Veterinary Dispensary, Kappivakkam, Maduranthagam Division, Kancheepuram Region and the third petitioner was appointed as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Veterinary Dispensary, Latheri, Vellore District. It is further stated that the second petitioner engaged another counsel and hence, the petitioners 1 and 3 did not have any details regarding the second petitioner.

The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submits that the 2nd petitioner was also appointed as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Poultry, Kattupakkam, Kancheepuram District on 18.03.2024. As all the petitioners were already promoted as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, nothing further survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
