On the complaint given by one Senthil Kumar, the petitioner herein been summoned by the respondent police under Sections 91 and 160 1/4
Cr.P.C., to appear for the enquiry. The petitioner instead of appearing before the Investigating Officer and produce the documents which is available with him and give statement have come before this Court seeking protection and direction to the respondent police not to harass him.
2. The prayer for fetching the petitioner ought to have responded the summons issued to him and participate with the investigation, instead he has came up with this petition as if the police intend to harass him.
3. This Court finds no merit in this petition, hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 04.11.2023 and cooperate with the investigation. On such appearance, the police shall investigate the matter in accordance with law.
