ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to initiate departmental disciplinary proceedings against the 3rd
respondent on the basis of the written representation made by the petitioner on 20.06.2025.
2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the Respondents 1 to 3.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal today.
4. The brief case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the custodian of the subject mentioned property situate at Ayanavaram, Chennai which originally belonged to one Kasthuriammal. After her demise, her legal heirs became the owners of the property who then appointed one D.Saravanan as their Power Agent under a registered Power of Attorney in the year 2022. It is the grievance of the petitioner that while the petitioner having possession of the original title deeds, the Power of Attorney D.Saravanan, has presented sale deeds in respect of the subject mentioned property before the third respondent without producing the original title deeds and got the sale deeds registered . Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent to initiate departmental proceedings against the 3rd respondent who registered the
sale deeds. However, the same has not been considered yet. Hence, this Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
