PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action by giving police protection for the petitioner's life and property from the respondents 4 to 8. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the official respondents to take appropriate action by giving police protection for the petitioner's life and property from the private respondents.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials

available on record.

3. Since there is no adverse order passed against the private respondents, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

4. Considering the fact that there is a civil dispute involved between the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief as sought for by the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the competent civil court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
