Prayer :- Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the IInd Additional District Judge, Erode to dispose O.S.No.689 of 2023 within stipulated time by allowing this Revision Petition.

For Petitioner : M/s.S.Pavithra

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The revision petitioner, who is the plaintiff in the suit, seeks expeditious disposal of O.S.No.689 of 2023. The suit has been filed for 1/4

recovery of money based on the execution of a promissory note. Though the suit has been pending from 2023 onwards and the written statement has already been filed, the suit is being adjourned on the ground that a transfer petition is pending in Tr.O.P.No.164 of 2024.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no interim stay has been granted in the said transfer petition, and therefore, there is no legal impediment for the Trial Court to proceed with the trial.

4. Considering that the suit has been filed for recovery of a sum of Rs.31,90,050/- together with interest, I am inclined to direct the Trial Court to frame issues within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit within a period of nine months thereafter. However, direction is subject to there being no interim stay in Tr.O.P.No.164 of 2024. 2/4

5. This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. 29.08.2025 jas To The II Additional District Judge, Erode.
