The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant patta for S.F.Nos 21/1, 23/2A and 23/2C of Thottiyampatti Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District by considering our application for patta transfer dated 15.02.2019 and pass orders. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1/4

Respondent to grant patta to the petitioners property.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioners inherited the subject property from their ancestors and made an application on 15.02.2019 for transferring patta in their names . However till date the said application was kept in abeyance and not considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 15.02.2019 and pass orders

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited request sought for by the petitioner this Court directs the respondent to consider the application dated 2/4

15.02.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner as well as counter parties if any within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the petitioner made representation on 15.02.2019, the petitioner is directed to serve the copy of the application submitted for transfer of patta to the respondent,

6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
