ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed praying to punish the respondents for their willful non-compliance and disobedience of the order of this court dated 04.03.2019 made in W.P.No.22725 of 2013.

2. This court, by order dated 04.03.2019, while setting aside the order impugned in the writ petition, directed the respondents 2 and 3 to approve the appointment of the petitioner from 15.04.2008 and to pay back-wages of service and monetary benefits of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the order as passed as early as on 04.03.2019, the same has not been complied with so far by the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the order of this court has been complied with. She has also produced a xerox copy of the proceedings passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.9046/B/2013 dated 02.03.2020. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also admitted the position that order of this court has been complied with by the respondents.

4. In the light of the above, this court is of the view that nothing survives in this contempt petition for further adjudication and therefore, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
