By orders of this Court dated 24.01.2021, after receiving a report of the Inspector of Police, this Court with an intention of talking to the minor child, had directed to list the matter today at 5:30 pm in the Chambers.

2. The police official though discharged his duties, was directed to accompany the respondent and the minor. Today, when the parties https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.No.1931 of 2019 appeared along with the minor child, Mr. Jebadoss, Special Sub Inspector, E-3, Minjur Police Station, Chennai, had also accompanied them.

3. This Court had a very intimate and detailed conversation with the four year old Kriya, who appears to be very accurate and precise in her statement. It appears that she is not willing to have the father visiting her.

4. In these circumstances this Court had to bow down to the wishes of the minor child. Therefore, no case has been made out for issuing any order in the Contempt Petition.
