Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.PC praying to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the petitioner against the 3rd, 4th and 5th respondent, at her residential address viz., at door No.7/23 and 7/23A, Chinnakani Konar Street, Sugunapuram, EB colony, Coimbatore, Coimbatore Taluk and District.

ORDER

It is represented by the Government Advocate that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been enquired and closed as civil in nature on 17.11.2019.

2, Furthermore, on a perusal of the averments contained in the petition, it is seen that there has been various transactions between the petitioner and the counter petitioners with reference to the property in issue. In such view of the matter, the petitioner has to approach the civil court for establishing her right in respect of the property in dispute and seek appropriate reliefs with reference to the said property. At this stage of the matter, it would not be expedient in the interest of justice to direct the police to intervene in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the counter petitioners.

3. In the light of the abovesaid factors, I do not deem it a fit case to direct the police to give protection to the petitioner at this stage. Resultantly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
