The petitioner seeks bail in S.C.No.65 of 2023 now pending before the Mahalir Neethimandram (Fast Track Court), Tiruppur. It is stated that originally the Crime No.303 of 2022 had been registered under Sections 394, 451 & 397 of IPC.

2. The petitioner had been granted bail but subsequently, had absconded on 25.05.2023 and NBW was issued and the petitioner was arrested on 18.08.2023.

3. It is stated that the other accused in the same crime number had also absconded and NBWs had been issued and they had been subsequently taken into custody.

4. Taking those facts into consideration and also the fact that charges have not yet been framed, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
