C.M.P.No.27804 of 2023 in C.R.P.No.725 of 2021 S.SOUNTHAR,J.

This petition is filed seeking a direction to respondent to pay a sum of Rs.1,86,240/- being a difference in fair rent payable to the petitioner.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that this Court in C.R.P.No.725 of 2021 directed the respondent herein to pay arrears of fair rent to the petitioner herein as fixed on or before 31.05.2023. However, the respondent failed to pay the arrears of fair rent as directed by this Court in its order dated 19.04.2023 in C.R.P.No.725 of 2021.

3. If the respondent failed to comply with the earlier directions of this Court, it is for the petitioner to explore other remedy available under law. The present petition seeking direction to the respondent to pay the arrears of fair rent is not maintainable and hence, the same is dismissed.
