` Crl.M.P.No.19763 of 2022 in Crl.O.P. No.24110 of 2021 R.N.MANJULA, J., This petition is filed to extend the time for a further period of six months to complete the investigation and file final report as per the direction given by this Court by its order dated 08.06.2022 made in Crl.O.P. No.24110 of 2021.

2. Heard the learned Government Advocate for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. By virtue of an earlier order of this Court dated 08.06.2022, a direction has been given to the petitioner to conclude the investigation within a period of three months. Since investigation has not been completed within a stipulated time, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time to complete the investigation.

4. On perusal of the records, it is seen that the petitioner has to examine further witnesses and collect some more documents. Hence, I feel it is appropriate to extend the time to conclude the investigation.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed and the time to complete the investigation and file final report in Cr. No.02 of 2021 on the file of the petitioner is further extended to a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 03.01.2023 bkn https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
