COMMON ORDER The petition has been filed seeking bail in connection with Crime No.335 of 2024 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 74, 309(4), 311 and 353(3) of BNS, 2023 and read with Section 4 f TNPHW Act, 2002.

2. The case of the prosecution is that based on the complaint lodged by one Vasuki, a fisherwoman, it is alleged that while she was proceeding to her shop, the petitioners waylaid her and robbed a sum of Rs.500/- at knife point. Hence, the present case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the complaint is belated and contains imaginary allegations with contradiction. Hence, the petitioners may be released on bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that all the five accused are notorious criminals with several criminal cases and two of them [A1 and A4] are history-sheeters. He further submitted that they were arrested on 10.08.2025. He further submitted that the investigation is at nascent stage.

5. Considering the nature of the complaint and the reasons stated, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Hence, this Criminal Original Petitions stand dismissed.
