Heard Mr.M.Abdul Nazeer, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Rajasekar, learned Senior Standing Counsel for the respondents.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the first respondent to file private complaint against the petitioner immediately and direct the second respondent to report to the learned Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, (E.O.II), Egmore stating that no complaint will be filed. During the pendency of the Writ Petition, a complaint has been filed in RR.No.55 of 2000 on the file of the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, E.O.II, Egmore, Chennai-600 008.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that thereafter, the petitioner has also undergone the sentence and it has been set off against the period undergone during the preventive detention.

4.In the light of the subsequent development, no further order is required and the Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
