O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue namely Preetha, Daughter of Jayabalan, aged 25 years, has come forward with this petition to produce the detenue before this Court and set her at liberty. 2.On the earlier occasion, i.e., on 17.10.2023, this Court directed the respondents to file a Status Report as to the action taken for securing the detenue and also gave liberty to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to mention before this Court and bring the matter for hearing, once the detenue is secured.

3.Today, on mentioning by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the matter is taken up for hearing by way of an additional list, even though

the case is not shown in the regular list, after due intimation to the counsel on record for the petitioner.

4.Now, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the petitioner are present before this Court. The detenue is also produced before this Court.

5.On enquiry, the detenue has expressed her willingness to go with the petitioner and she states that she is not in illegal detention of anyone and on her own, she was away from the petitioner due to domestic issues. Since the detenue is now willing to go with her mother, the petitioner herein, recording the said statement of the detenue, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
