Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct a survey and to demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's land situated in survey no.250/5D at Yeranthangal Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District vide Patta No.1639, based on the petitioner's application vide.2024/0123/04/001466 dated 01.08.2024 and the representation dated 21.08.2024, within the stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to conduct survey of the property situated in survey no.250/5D, Yeranthangal Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District, by considering his on-line application dated 01.08.2024 in application No.2024/0123/04/001466.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased 8.5 ares in the above mentioned property under sale deed dated 29.07.2024. The petitioner submitted an on-line application dated 01.08.2024 seeking survey of the land and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the 2/4

respondents would submit that the on-line application of the petitioner for survey of land will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the on-line application of the petitioner dated 01.08.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
