2. In these proceedings, parties shall be referred to by their respective ranks in the main suit for the sake of convenience and clarity.

3. Mr.K.Harishankar, learned counsel for plaintiff and Mr.A. Arasu Sanga Tamil, counsel on record for sole defendant are before this Commercial Division.

4. Captioned application has been taken out by the plaintiff inter alia under Order VIII Rule 9 of 'The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908' ['CPC' for the sake of brevity] seeking permission to file a reply statement in the main suit.

5. It is not necessary to be detained by facts owing to the fair stand taken by learned counsel for defendant. Learned counsel for defendant, on instructions, submits that the prayer in the captioned application is not being opposed. This submission is recorded.
